Honda Automobile ( Thailand ) Co., Ltd. began its operation in Thailand in 1983, and considered to be one of the more recent car manufacturers to enter Thai market. After two decades, HATC has grown to become one of the country's largest car manufacturers, with a rapidly rising sales that amount to over 520,000 units from the start to the year 2004 .
 
Dedicated to providing maximum satisfaction to customers, HATC currently has a network of 123 dealers in almost all provinces nationwide,
so as to be able to service each and every Honda customer, and to meet the demand of the market and quickly changing consumer preferences.


Apart form manufacturing cars for local market, Honda considers Thailand to be an important manufacturing base for export,
earning precious foreign exchange for the country. The company's export of CBU Honda cars and parts totals 31,149 million baht in 2004 .
